This singer/songwriter recorded everything at many, many studios over the country, over a span of several years. I realized that the vocal has SO much bleed from the rest of the band, so I attempted to tame it somewhat. It was really hard to get a gate to sound seamless, so I just used the ambience as much as I could. Unfortunately, this is a departure from the real dry sound the singer/songwriter wanted, but he knows that there are going to be limitations due to the nature of the tracking. But here's the latest stab:
