5 song ep recorded on cassette with sm58

Yo...

I wrote and recorded these tunes on a Tascam 424MKIII. I used a single SM58 to capture guitar and vocals simultaneously. It was mixed and mastered by a pro.

I think it came out pretty damn good.

I'm working on another 5 songs to release here very soon, but I think my recorder broke which really sucks for me.

Just to clarify trumpet, bass and shaker were properly recorded in a real studio.

However this 10 minutes of music is primarily just acoustic and vocals. Is anybody surprised by the quality of the recording? I was because I wasn't expecting it to be as clear and present considering the cassette and 58.
