New EP — Done entirely in the home studio

I'm gonna post this in another thread too, for context (after my DIY home studio build) but yeah — my band finally got a new EP done in the home studio, and we're really happy with it.

3 dudes in an attic with a bunch of toys sounds like the following: The Deep Cuts: Volume 2

Thanks Nick! I appreciate it. We're already hard at work on some new stuff. Looking forward to building up some momentum.

Sounds good and I really liked where the bass was placed in the mix. Enough to hear/feel it but not overpowering. Well done

Awesome! Really love the synthesizer work in these!

I'm a huge fan of any use of synths in music. Not sure why I love them so much, I just do haha.

If you're a fan of modern synths, I found a great reference here: https://keyboardkraze.com/best-synthesi ... rformance/

Well done Alex! (Finally listening after a year—Sorry!).

The first two songs are very “80’s Brit-pop-y” to me, they sound like Robert Fripp producing the Edge playing with “XT-Tears for Thompson Twins” (in my world that’s a good thing). I also hear some Prog influences a la the first U.K. album.

Very cool, good music nicely recorded.
