Tascam 688 -*With Animals*
Hear it on Mark Lanegan and Duke Garwood's album.
Re: Tascam 688 -*With Animals*
Mark, Screaming Trees, Lanegan, or a completely different Mark Lanegan?
WWRHS?

Yes, Screaming Trees/QOTSA dude.
He has a new CD out now, fully pro studio: Somebody's Knocking.
Also great - I'm a big fan.

just saw a mark sandman documentary clip on youtube, he's in his studio with a Tascam 688 and talks about how a lot of the stuff recorded on there made it to their records. super cool, it's the material not the medium.

Man, I love me some Sandman. I have all the albums, compilations, Treat Her Right stuff, documentaries.
Saw Morphine once, also; big influence that you can be rockin', funkin', original, mean and nasty and sexy and funny, all at once.
And, I play 2 string slide bass.
I like Twinemen, a "successor" band, also, but Sandman - one of a kind.
