Hi. An album I co-produced with a very talented musician and songwriter last year is finally out. Figured I'd share, no big whoop. Overall I'd describe it as having a classic rock/roots influence.
Here's the Spotify link but it's on all major streaming platforms, just search for Dave Osgood.

It was captured using rather humble gear, but done in the spirit of TapeOp: Service of the song was the top priority, and it was all about making the most of what we had on hand.
Thanks!

Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.
Re: Dave Osgood - Solo
Most of the electric is his strat which has an onboard preamp, the stratoblaster I think it's called. An SG and g&l tele make a few appearances.
We would track guitar live with the drums (and bass as well for 3 songs). Actually there's one song where we did piano and drums initially.
One of my favorite things about this recording is that on the song "Floating in the sea" he recorded the epic outro solo using his phone. It blows my mind how well it came out! We tried that on a different song too but it sounded like ass. Lol
Thanks for listening!

Yeah, cool.
Waiting on the shore going into Floating in the sea is my favorite part of this album.
Cheers.

Yeah, I'd probably say the same for me also. I got to play bass on those tracks too, which was fun!
