Hi,

I think ur confusing this unit with the stock 3124 which doesnt include a 2x4 mixer and inserts on every channel. Mercs discount price is $3250 on the 3124M, so this is actually a pretty good deal.

BTW, I don't enjoy trying to negotiate price on a thread, if ur serious just contact me personally, and hopefully be educated about the difference.

I may be interested in this. What is the difference between the MB and the MB+?

The MB+ added a polarity switch, sound is identical. I like the mixer version because it has inserts on each chan, very handy for EQ/Comps.
