I'm starting my quest for a tape machine. Haven't nailed down exactly what would suit me best yet but I'd love some type of ampex machine, but for lack of funds might have to settle for the ole' otari mx5050 deal. MAybe MCI? Studers are probably out of my price range.
I'm looking for anything for sale/advice/overcharged opinions/etc
I also have a teac 4 track (consumer level 1/4" deal) I might be getting rid of that mostly works....

I have an MS 16 in good shape. I am selling it because I also have an MCI machine. It has 16 channels of DBX, the remote and all. I have the manual as well. The only problem I know of is that one wheel is missing off the remote stand. Let me know if you are interested and I will send pics. Where are you located?
