I've got an MCI JH-110B-8/4-C/K kit for sale.
Basically it was an option to turn the 1 inch 8 track into a 1/2 inch four track. It has the complete head assembly with all heads in good condition, plus all the pucks, tape counting rollers, and hubs. There's also a brand new record head and a brand new playback head. The original heads are included and are in pretty good condition as well. It came from a small school that used it for their film department.
It'd be cool as a complete replacement for somebody with a 4 track JH110 already or as the intended conversion kit from the 8 track.
Apparently they bought all the spares they could, so there are 7 brand new tape counting rollers!!!!
I'm thinking maybe it's worth about 400? but of course offers are welcome. Come on 1/2" 4 track? that's the same as 2 inch 16 track, just way more concentrated rock.
Thanks
justin

ooo...tempting. I have one of those MCI 4-tracks sitting around, which could probably use the kit. Unfortunately, I'm trying to raise cash for another purchase.
Sorry, didn't mean to threadjack...

250 for the whole thing. With installation in the nashville area on your already running machine. Will align and calibrate your deck.....but it needs to be running. I don't want to have to get into tach boards and torque boards, but we could work something out.
