Joe Meek VC2
i'm thinking about selling mine. . .
can i get some input on what one of these is worth these days?
it's in excellent condition still.
i do a LOT of hip-hop in my studio, so i'm going for a more inyourface type sound. i'm looking to replace the VC2 with a Great River ME-1NV
any input on about how much i can expect to get?
i will consider any offers as well, if this sparks any interest.

according to PrePal (http://prepal.com/data/JoeMeek.htm) the going rate is about $341 these days.
If I didn't already have 2 of them (and a VC2) I would be interested...but alas...I'm good on the Meeks.
Good luck, though.

Prepal's database is more than borked. Their pricing is totally broken. They left it alone without updating it for several years and that so skewed the numbers, that you just can't trust for more than the vaguest of estimates that could be totally off. I wouldn't rely on those numbers at all. Though $500 to $800 is probably what you can expect to get for the original VC2.
