I don't get it either. This is SO MUCH console for the $$!!idylldon wrote:I truly can't believe this beautiful board is still for sale. If I didn't already own a 28-channel Series II, I'd be all over this one. Someone should grab this. You surely won't regret it.

Glad someone picked this up. I have a series 1e that i am slowly restoring, but it functions pretty well and is dead quiet.
If you have a post/thread somewhere about your journey with this board I would like to follow along. Also happy to offer anything that I have learned along the way. I know these tend to be a bit custom from board to board, but will help any way I can.
And don't forget about the Neotek mailing list!

thanks john -
workin' the issues slowly but surely!
llmonty - thanks for the offer to help out... at the moment my plan is to set it all up and integrate it into my room to find out what works/doesn't work. i've ID'd the working and non-working modules (for the most part), figured out most of the wiring to and from the desk (including the patch bay layout)... now i need to start replacing the molex connectors on the motherboards. channels tend to cut in and out when you press on them. (i.e. all of the sudden something will go out and when you push on it, back it comes). also, module by module i have to fix logic based things like... "stuck in mute", "stuck in line-in mode", etc.
you can see my thread on the thing over on Pro Recording Workshop:

i will be asking all sorts of questions there if you could give any valuable input!!
thanks!
