FS: Racks in Oakland - flight case!

Super nice 19U grey Jan-Al flight case. Rails on both sides. Rolls smooth, has locking casters. All pro hardware. Never toured. Will ship as is if you arrange it. $250.



Open frame, straight, black, square-tube steel, 16U, no thread issues. Sturdy! A great option for racking a tape deck, haphazard patchbay setup, or other equipment that requires rear access. - $40



Two baby blue sheet steel vented slant-frame, 14U with 4U straight bottom, some thread issue (probably best if you're only mounting large items). Space on top for some shallow rider racks or pedals or what have you. Fun color. I was told they are ex-NASA, but who gives a f*ck. - $25 each

I don't know if the previous response was interested in those "Nasa" racks, but how bad are the threads in them? Like, unusable mostly? Are you interested in shipping? They look so cool!!

Oh, they're not too bad. You're talking about the one on the left. It's not the cleanest tap job, but it'll work. Note that it has 3U cut out at the bottom of the slant. I mean, there's a reason they're $25.

These way very little (say, 5lb apiece), but they're of course bulky. I'm not eager to ship them, so if they're still here in a few weeks, I'll consider it.

The one on the right still has its original tap spacing. Maybe someone who knows about 50s/60s studio design can enlighten us as to the term for this style of spacing:
