Price Reduced: Mini Synth DIY Kits

Post by lanxe » Fri May 19, 2006 3:52 pm

Hey,
these are the geiger counter minisynths on http://www.thoserecords.com/egon.htm

you can also part your own out from here:
www.musicfromouterspace.com (we are selling the yellow one on the front page)

So......We have a few unbuilt "kits" we want to sell. These kits include everything you need to build a minisynth EXCEPT: wire and solder, and tools (wire strippers, soldering iron, pliers, etc)

The kits DO come with:
- a geiger counter case (as seen here http://www.thoserecords.com/egon.htm )
- Ray's Nice professionally made PCB
- All PCB components (resistors, caps, transistors, IC's, Diodes, etc)
- All Panel Mount components (Jacks, switches and pots)
-battery holders

in order to "break even" we are asking $149 USD for a kit plus shipping.
hope this is fair.

for more info or questions, email me a egon@thoserecords.com

we have a couple of populated pcb's for sale as well ( gone/sold)
And we can also sell empty cases if you are interested ($45 USD)

we do have a couple of completely built synthesizers for sale but we arent going to build any more (gone/sold).
well, I think we got in over our heads trying to build complete synths (for anybody that has built one knows that it takes some time to wire everything up, so multiply that by about thirty) so we are inclined to sell kits for basically no profit to us.

Thanks,
Ryan

- Three way mixer (oscillator 1, oscillator 2 and White Noise Generator)

VCF - Band-Pass or Low-Pass Filter with high resonance ring knob, with routing switches to the envelope generator and LFO
