auralex expander kit new in the box. $35

Post by jrepro » Mon Oct 01, 2007 7:14 pm

New in the box, Auralex Aural-Xpander Studio Sound Isolation Kit. I opened the box but never used them. Now, I am not recording much anymore.

Technical Description
Includes:

(1) 14" Xpander baffle

(2) 8" Tri*Xpander (triangular) baffles

(4) 6" Trap*Xpander (trapezoidal) baffles

(6) PlatFeet&tradel structural resonance interrupters (enough to float 2 tripod/round-based mic stands or 2 cymbal stands or 2 floor toms)

Seems these go for about $50 from dealers. How about $35 plus shipping.

I'm curious about trying these out in less-than-perfect recording situations -- What do you expect shipping costs would be? How big/bulky is the box?

Shipping is cheap. Under 10 bucks. The box is the size of a Priority Mail box....15x20x3 maybe. I think the last time I shipped one of these it was like $6-$7.

I will sell it $42 including shipping. If it is more than that, I'll pay the difference.

These are pretty darn nice for less than ideal recordings, or even in ideal situations, when you just want to eliminate the room. Also it has pads to set under cymbal or drum stands to isolate the vibrations.

Joe, I'll take 'em if they're still available. Paypal ok?
