I ended up with a 12" OEM style ceramic magnet speaker from somewhere. It appears to work just fine. Not sure of the wattage. Guessing from the Magnet, it is in the 40 watt range, but that is just a guess. If you need a speaker to replace one before you sell your beloved amp, this is the one! It even works fine as a replacement in a floor monitor (which is where I used it)
