Optigan Discs- HELLLLLPPPP MMMMMEEEEE

Post by utters » Wed Oct 17, 2007 5:39 am

If anyone has any discs that they're willing to part with then let me know. People sell them on ebay with a buy-it-now of like $80. That's just stupid if you ask me.

If anyone has any more realistic prices, let me know. Or any good sources for them etc. I'm into the Jazz ones like Dixieland Strut and Swing It. Or i'd quite like Majestic Pipe Organ

If anyone out there had the Songs of Praise Set i'd obviously be willing to pay a lot more

Alrighty, Cheers

Dan

Yeah, A friend has an Optigan and has been trying to get his hand on discs for years. He only has the Christmas disk I think. He is a photographer by trade and swears he has a way to duplicate the discs. I think he is a liar because he will not discuss said process. They are really great but I would settle for a sample library. You better hope it never breaks.

fingers crossed that mine stays ok, i've got the following discs:

Starter Set (4 discs)
Big Top Marching Band
Big Band Beat
Movin'
The Blues Sweet & Low

You can buy discs from ebay, you've just got to shell out a bit more :)

Please PM me with how you'd need to recieve data of a scanned disc. I may be able to gain access to equipment that could do the scan, and I would offer up some of my discs as test objects.

I have the Starter Set, Banjo Sing-along, and something else...Organ Sing-along or some such. Anyway, a viable method for duplicating and trading discs would be far too cool...
I thought this club was for musicians. Who let the drummer in here??
