Ampeg SB 12 fliptop
Thinning the amps -- I'm getting rid of my Ampeg SB12. Sounds great on upright and electric bass (sounds like an Ampeg -- but quiet at 18 watts or so.)
Also sounds great on guitar. Warm/fuzzy/swampy.
$450, located in Baltimore MD. Original alnico speaker, plexi nameplate says "J Brown", can't get any cooler than that. Blue check tolex is a little tattered, it's a vintage amp that has done a lot of gigs over a lot of years.
I love this amp, but I'm keeping a blackface Showman that I love even more.
