WTB: small tube amp for playing harp. Champ. Pro jr, Blues

Post by jrepro » Wed Mar 05, 2008 2:24 pm

I am looking for a small tube amp between 5 and 15w for harp. I would prefer a combo with an 6-10" speaker, but will entertain 12" or heads too.

Condition does not matter as long as it works. Older is fine and maybe even better. Reverb or None. Price must be reasonable to cheap!

ex: Champ, Champ 600, Pro Jr, Blues Jr, Supro, Valco, Ohau etc.

Jre_productions@yahoo.com or PM me.

Have you tried the Epi Valve Jr combo?

Thanks for the reply. I actually have a Valve Jr Head and thought about trying it out tonight. So a Valve jr combo might just work fine. Looking for something to gig with, and will be mic'n the amp for the FOH.

This might be a little more than you want to spend, but you can get a brand new Gibson Les Paul Jr. amplifier for $299 at Musicians Friend, they used to be $699. They are probably the best 5 watt amplifier I have ever played.
Still waiting for a Luna reunion
