SHITLOAD of misc. high end cables/wire in Portland, OR cheap

Post by mindbreathe » Sun Mar 23, 2008 12:14 am

I'm good friends with the president of the post-production audio company 'Soundesign'. A couple years ago they changed studios and in the process I scored a SHITLOAD (like 6 large boxes) of cables/wires. Some of it is Mogami, the rest of it I have never heard of. I actually never ended up using 98% of this shit. I sort of took it because at the time I didn't know what my studio needs were going to be, and I had storage space. I'm currently moving from my big house with a big basement to a new small house with no basement, and I have no room for this shit. If no one comes to bargain with me for this stuff (I'd like a little money for it) I swear to fucking God it will all end up in front of my house with the rest of the trash bags and wouldn't that be sad.

On closer inspection the usable wire is 24ch Mogami, Belden, and obscure snakes. I am not going to measure them. I also have a bunch of SCSI cables.

Any offer considered.

So I guess no one wants these cables. I'll probably put the non-Mogami stuff in trash bags and put them on my curb on Friday.

some more information like prices would help! and if your not going to measure them, can you guestimate, or better sell for really cheap. Its not that hard to measure, you might get more offers if we have that info.

I have two days to clear out of my house. I'm going to take all the good cable to my studio and when I have the time I'll measure what I want to sell.

The SCSI cables and adapters are another story. I'm not keeping those.

I may have a need for some of the Mogami 24-pair if it's in ten-foot or more segments. Please PM me if this is available.
