List Of Stuff For Sale (Ghost, mics, outboard, etc.)

Post by cgarges » Mon May 05, 2008 9:20 pm

Hey everyone,

Aside from the installation of our new console, Old House is looking to do some other upgrades while we're moving stuff around. As such, we're unloading some stuff that just doesn't get used. We're open to offers on any of it and at the bottom is a list of stuff that we're looking for and would consider in trade. Feel free to pass this on to anyone you know who may be interested. Photos available by request. Prices do not include shipping.

32-channel Soundcraft Ghost with Optofile DRAX VCA fader and mute automation with computer

This is no ordinary Ghost. It's retrofitted with VCA automation. And pretty decent VCA automation at that. Although it doesn't have motorized faders, this system actually reads the movement of the faders, so it's not like automating with a mouse or anything and it doesn't tie up insert points. It's a pretty great system. We really don't want to have to ship this thing, so local pickup is preferred.
$2999

Pair of ADL 1000 opto tube compressors (sequential serial numbers)
We really do want to try to sell these as a pair, since they have sequential serial numbers. They were bought new from Anthony Demaria in 1998.
$1,599 for the pair

Line 6 Mod Pro
Versatile Line 6 modulation effects. Great choruses, flanging, rotary speaker effects, etc. Mint condition with manual.
$250

Telefunken solid state mic pre rack
This includes one N624 rack with power supply, two V672/1 solid-state mic preamps, one 672/2 solid state mic preamp (1 in, 2 out), and one empty space, plus the 4-channel output control module with level knobs for each unit. We also have a couple of spare modules and parts for this unit, but I'm not sure if they're complete and/or working. The three modules in the rack and the rack itself work fine.
$1499

Akai MPC 2000
Standard Akai drum machine/sampler with lots of extra discs and new trigger pads (with VERY little use on them) and a new LCD screen installed a few years ago. We also have a few spare parts available.
$499

DOD VoTec
Stage multi pedal-type voice processor.
$50

Digitech Vocalist VHM5
Digitech voice harmonizer and effects processor.
$99

Alesis Ampliton
Small table-top modulation effects box. Good tremolo and panning effects.
$40

Frontier Apache
12 channel optical digital patchbay.
$250

Realistic Dual Ten-Band Graphic Equalizer
Yes, folks, here it is-- the famed RSEQ. This is the silverface version with the highly-sought-after IMX Stereo Expander. Dual RCA I/O (Main and Tape) with bypass and master power switches. Dual sets of graphic goodness from 31Hz to 16k. You know you want it. Be the coolest indie rock guy on your block. I don't even know where to start with this, so I'm accepting offers. Get your TapeOp bidding war pants on.

That's it for now, although I'll have some more up soon, including lots of cabling and patchbay stuff. On our shopping list is the following stuff that we'll happily consider in part of a trade:

Coles/STC 4038 (pref. a pair)
RCA 77DX
Urei LA3 (pref. original)
Urei LA4 (pref. black face)
Urei 1178
ADR stereo Compex (pref. transformer version)
Bryston 4B

I'd prefer an email over PM if there's anything here that interests you. Thanks!

God, those ADL's are tempting.

No new gear till fall though...shucks.
