I just bought a Demeter from Sonic Circus via Ebay for a little over $500
It looks like they have another one up right now.
Brand new with warranty. Sounds amazing.

Skip the headache and disappointment of buying an older 1/2 broken unit and just go with one of these.

Or if you really want headache and disappointment PM me. I have a few units:)

There is a demeter spring reverb for sale on Gear Slutz right now for $500. the seller's handle is "maidsroom".

I have no affiliation, just giving a brother a head's up.
I know enough to know that I don't know what I am doing.

have you checked into the zerotronics spring reverb units? there was a review of the mini-le a short while ago in tapeop, he also builds the coolsprings unit, which is a bit less expensive and larger. i bought one of the mini-le units, but my studio is undergoing a move and i haven't been able to put it fully through its paces yet. the tests i did, though, proved it to be a very smooth sounding and big reverb in a little box and built like a tank.
