Sufjan approved gear!

Post by fossiltooth » Mon Jun 02, 2008 1:09 pm

Prepare for some for some completely shameless unapologetic cheap pandering to the TapeOp demographic:

Sufjan Stevens recorded the majority of the album "Illinoise" on a Roland VS880, and it sounds awesome. I'm selling a VS 1680. It's essentially the same thing with more tracks. It's easy to use, it works well, and presumably it will allow you to record things that sound as good as the album "Illinoise". So buy it. I have one on ebay right now.

Simplify your musical life!

...Gee, I wonder if Sufjan would get mad if he knew I was using his name for my own fun and profit. Oh well...

...Anyway, Rock!

Buy my thing.

Couldn't you at least be a little apologetic?

Is that what he did that album on? I love the sound of it and met him a few years back in Milwaukee...very cool guy! Anyone else out there know more about his load out as far as gear he uses? JD!
