Apogee Mini-Me Make me an offer

Post by GCMan » Fri Jun 06, 2008 9:07 am

I have hardly used Apogee Mini-Me that I'm looking to let go of. Since the day I go it the phantom power switch had not worked. I bought it new but never used it as a preamp really, and one day discovered the phantom didn't work. Sweetwater would not take it back and I never got around to sending it in for warranty work.

It's in great condition except the phantom power doesn't work. I do have the contact information for Apogee repair.

Make me a decent offer. I also have 2 SPDIF cables to include.

Thanks,

Hey, don't take this the wrong way....I assume you know how to engage the phantom power on that thing? You need to have a condenser plugged in and then hold the switch to the right for a few seconds before the light turns red. Just figured I would mention it because it mystified me when I first got mine and if it actually does work you could probably do a little better selling it.

yeah, that is annoying... another thing is that these things need a power supply that can provide at least 1200mA or they freak out. trying to engage phantom power makes it worse (if the supply is not original and under-powered...)
