FS: Sytek MPX-4A-ii 4 Ch Mic Pre w/ Neutrik Snake REDUCED

Post by VikingGrapes » Fri Jun 06, 2008 12:17 pm

FOR SALE:

One clean Sytek MPX-4A-ii channel mic pre with the famous Burr Brown chip option. I am the second owner of this unit (was bought new by a MN University and barely used in their radio studio), and has been in my smoke free home studio for the last three years. It is in good shape cosmetically with only minimal wear, and it is a great pre overall. Having the flexibility to go from clean and clinical sound of channels 1 and 2 to the more 'color' to channels 3 and 4 makes this a must have. I just ran it through the expert hands of Casey Gooby (of Savage Amplifier fame) to be sure that it was tip top for the next user, and it is of course.

BONUS: I am also including in the sale price a custom made 4 channel snake (female XLR to TRS) with Neutrik ends, which I paid a fair bit for when I got it new.

Here's the URL to see detailed photos of the unit:

PRICE LOWERED TO $685 WITH the snake with FREE SHIPPING to the Continental US. I must sell it to cover the costs of repair to other gear.

I will accept paypal or postal money order. If you want to check my eBay seller rating (100%, 618 feedback) lookup 'Jukeboxbonfire'. I wanted to post it here before putting it up on the 'Bay. Thanks!
