This thing is really awesome. I've been using it for all of my recent bass recordings, and the one record I did without it I really regretted it. What I recommend is to take it (and the bass player with bass) into the control room and have the bass player dial in the tone with the multiple controls on the Bass Driver listening to the studio speakers. When you get the right sound, take the Bass Driver and (bass/player) into the tracking room and plug in there.
