Apogee Mini-Me - No longer for Sale

Post by tonefreak » Mon Jul 14, 2008 8:51 am

Hi... thanks for all the interests, but it's not moving so I decided to keep it rather than go any lower in the price.

Email sent.
I get satisfaction of three kinds. One is creating something, one is being paid for it and one is the feeling that I haven?t just been sitting on my ass all afternoon.

Yes!

I use the SPDIF into my ProTools setup.

I thought all Mini-Me's had either USB or firewire. Was the card removed, or did it really not come with a connector?

Nope, some come with just AES/spdif out, USB/Firewire are optional and no analog out.

FWIW I used one connected directly to MacBook Pro using the M-Audio CO2 SPDIF to optical converter. I use another adapter cable to get to the laptop, not sure what it was called, but it was made by monster.

Showed up in the Audio MIDI setup via the digital connection, and did some tracking into Logic 8.

I'd buy this in a second if I had the extra dough.
