FS: Soundtracs MRX 32

Post by KamikazeKyle » Thu Jul 24, 2008 12:57 am

I'm selling my beloved Soundtracs MRX console. Soundtracs is legendary for making world class consoles. This console provides warm, natural 4 band EQ with sweepable mids. This console has 32 inputs with direct outs and inserts on each channel. It has 8 subgroups with inserts, 6 mono aux sends and 16 channels of monitor section for your daw or tape machine that can be individually soloed and metered.

I am the second owner of this board, it has been in continuous service since 1988 and has been very well maintained. Both studios where smoke free home studios.

If there are any other questions please ask. I'd be more then happy to respond. Or if you wan't to chat about it over phone feel free to PM me and I'd be more then happy to call you or give you my cell phone number.

I will also be posting some pictures tomorow.

How's it going man? I am selling this beauty because I'm no longer really using it and I'd rather see it goto someone who can use it then for it to sit around here. My home studio is now just an overdub studio and 32 channels is completely unessacary for what I'm doing so that's why I'm reluctantly selling her.

Extremely Bitchen man. It's pretty Aestechically Pleasing and on top of it all it sounds fucking amazing. The pre's have the same op amps as the Allen and Heath Saber but the EQ is so much more musical then any Allen and Heath I've ever worked on.

Man don't tell me stuff like that. i loved the saber i used to work on. Not so much for the mic amps but the way things came together was pretty satisfying for me. I cant afford to medically need another console.

I acctually really enjoyed tracking on this thing. It found a home on everything that I tried it on. And I've probally tracked almost every instrument known to man on this thing except for a Sitar or some odjob percussion instruments.

Yeah I love this thing. I'd love to keep her but there's no sense in doing so when I'm only doing overdubs at my place.

Yeah, I kinda wish I had the room for it.. :( ... SOT...I'd just noticed, does the channel numbers go from right to left in sequence? That's different.. If so, I wonder how many tracks I'd erase before I'd get use to it!... ..Good luck selling.........
