FS: Boxed Electro-Voice 664 Modified with XLR

I am still finding things to part with before my move to Portland. This mic seems to be a bit of an icon, but I really have too many mics for how little actual recording I do. It needs to go to someone who will put it to good use.

It works fine as far as I would expect; I don't think it is intended for incredible fidelity. When I first got it I looked into getting an XLR adapter, but decided to mod it myself with part of an XLR jack. The upside is that it doesn't need any special cables now. The downside is that I didn't modify the casing with a hole for clipping to an XLR jack. A cable plugged in is only held in place by friction.

Cosmetically it is in good shape. It has aged, but not poorly. I put up some pictures at http://www.skrasoft.com/selling/electro/
