FA: Bunch of Vinyl Shiner Jawbox Smoking Popes Braid

Post by Sean Sullivan » Wed Nov 19, 2008 7:56 am

I have a ton of vinyl for sale on eBay. Some of the really rare stuff (most of the Sunny Day Real Estate catalog) is sold, but lots of cool stuff from Jawbox, Braid, Shiner, and some odd ball ska (Five Iron Frenzy, Less Than Jake).

Still being updated, so keep checking. Everything starts at $1!

Joel, I couldn't remember if you recorded or were in Shiner, I'm selling two 7" records. One is the Shiner/Molly McGuire split on Hit It! records and another is on Desoto, it has two songs "Brooks" and "Released."

I don't see your name on the credits for either Joel.

I wasnt on either of those. My project band called "iron rite mangle" did a split with Molly Mcguire on HitIt! records though!!! funny.
I recorded shiner, I tour managed them, I did sound for them, I played in the band for a few years. I am on "starless" and a couple of the 7" singles (sailors fate/ split with farewell bend), and the "making love" EP also. I did a ton of touring with Shiner.

That's awesome Joel. I have The Egg and Lula Divina on CD, but I've never heard Starless.

Shiner were awesome. My band's label O&O Records put out Starless. Great record.

The "making love" EP is songs from Lula , but as a four piece. Shiner was a four piece before I quit, and josh started playing with them. That was great because Josh and I were in a band called "glazed baby" together for yeas before that, so our styles had grown together to a certain extent.
I just had to move back to NY...

My buddy Tate saw this post and made me end the Shiner auction so he could buy them when I go over there tomorrow, so hopefully no one here was bidding on it.

Lots of stuff still cheap...although I can't believe the Starflyer 50 record is $61!
