F/S OR F/T: Korg MS2000

Post by metanoiastudios » Sun Nov 30, 2008 8:09 pm

Up for sale is my Korg MS2000, in great condition with only a few scratches on the bottom. One of the keys had broken at some point, but it was put back together and been fine ever since. The unit sounds great, but I need the money to fund for a Nord Lead 2 or 3.

Asking for $390 + shipping.

Pictures available upon request.

BUMP!

I have purchased a Nord Lead 3, so this now has to go. Selling for $390 before it goes on Ebay.

I did the same thing a few years ago (sold my ms2000 to buy a nord lead 2) and I dunno, the nord is a way "cooler" synth but the ms2000 is way way more versatile. I sorta wish I hadn't sold it and just saved up for the nord.
things you may miss from the ms2000 not in the nord:
a vocoder, way more wave forms, effects, and umm a 16 step analog style sequencer...

Oh, I know what I'm parting with for sure, but the thing is I just got a Yamaha AN1X, which is a great-sounding unit, and I just got a Nord Lead 3 for a great deal, which has TONS of options for manipulating sounds. The Korg MS2000 is an awesome unit, but it doesn't fit for the kind of stuff that I am wanting to do live with my band :-/. And needless to say, I need the money because the Nord Lead 3 isn't cheap by any means...
