Somebody by this mic, as it is a workhorse that you will find tons of uses for. Vox, Mono overhead, kick drum, guitars, percussion, etc.

I've owned one since 2003 and i love mine.

I have 2 and love them. Warm and articulate at the same time. I will say I bought both of mine for under $350 a piece,separately,off of TapeOp, so you may be pushing it a bit price wise. Not judging, just an opinion. Wish I needed 3 :D
