I'm temped. I'm looking for a nice pre/compressor for around that price. But I've never used one of these units and I'm afraid the compressor isn't what I'm really looking for. I've heard it's a bit....trasparent...and I'm looking to color up some vox and bass.

Do you have any links to sound samples, and do you have pics? Does it have the original box/manual?

Hey Man
I have this particular unit.
Its great. I really like mine, the compression is fairly transparent but the pre amp section can be driven via the gain knob, even while using a line input. Seriously, if you check out my website pretty much all the vocals in the sample music in the Sounds Section were recorded through this preamp. id be buying one to complement my other one if i wasnt building out a control room at the moment.

Love this thing, serious.
