Blacklodge Recording, a two room facility located just outside Lawrence, Kansas, is for sale. For 300,000 you get the building, the gear, the name, all business assets and a crew of dedicated engineers. This is a great opportunity to walk into a money making recording studio with an impressive client list and an outstanding worldwide reputation. This is a package deal - we are not interested in parting out the gear.

The building is over 5000 sq. ft. and features two studios, a two bedroom apartment and plenty of office space and storage. The building was gutted and almost totally rebuilt in 1997 with all new electrical, plumbing and HVAC.

WOW!!!

This place is responsible for A LOT of my favorite records. Set the bar pretty high for me as far as drum sounds especially. Good luck guys.... have to say this will bum me out for the rest of the day knowing this place is potentially changing hands.

Darnell.
Thanks for the kind words. They are very much appreciated.
We're hoping to find a buyer that will keep what's working and add some new energy. I still plan on making records out here after the sale so hopefully we can find someone that understands what built the place and what it needs to keep rocking.
Ed
