i've loved this converter. it's served me amazingly well. movin' on.

the preamps are clean and never harsh, and make a great, clean, no nonsense DI.

converters work great, super low latency, detailed with wide stereo at all sample rates (48k and up all sound purdy!). VERY low latency, and doesn't bog down even slower computers.

it seems they've cut prices down to $450, so I'd do $375 shipped. i'll include a small library of drivers on a cd-rom of various releases, although the latest works great.

it's in chicago, and it's in great shape, always kept racked, including the box, cable, rack ears, and the foam you slip around the edges so when you put it in the box it doesn't flop around and get damaged in shipping.

I use to use this interface. Great stuff. I have an Echo Layla 3G cardbus card left over for sale @$100 that would make this a great mobile package for somebody also. Bump for a great deal all around for somebody!!!

IIRC, I don't think Echo makes a cardbus card for the Layla 3G. They have one for the Layla 24, but that doesn't work with the 3G.

My bad.
I had a Layla24 and 3G,linked via Adat lightpipe, with the Cardbus card hooked to the Layla24 and my MAC G4 Powerbook and it all worked together. I just assumed the card "would" work with the 3G as well. Never hooked it to the 3G first in the chain.
