I think IIC+ is the model Metallica used. the IIB was used by the Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton for a short while.

Sweet amp, wish i had the scratch.
Why not?

I had a IIB 60W head and loved it. Even though it was only a 60W head, it was LOUD. I found it took roughly an hour to get to the "nicely simmering" sound (though maybe that depends as much on the tubes as on the amp???). The clean sound is nothing special IMHO. But on the dirty channel this amp is awesomely ballsy, great for riffing. If I played heavy music these days I would grab one of these in a heartbeat.

The footswitch is quite slow, so you really have to get used to the timing if you're switching between clean & dirty.

Supposedly you can hook up a volume pedal somehow to fade between clean and dirty on these models. (I never tried.)

The amp head is tiny, great for gigging!

Sorry for interrupting, but that was a nice little nostalgia trip. :) Good luck selling the amp!
