3M M79 2" 16 track recorder -$1200 moving-MUST SELL!

Post by silvertonejones » Thu Sep 03, 2009 7:39 am

i purchased this 3M about a year ago and now that i'm downsizing a bit, it's gotta go..It needs some TLC but does work..Heads are fairly worn and there are a few issues, but this thing can absolutely be restored..Comes with manual as well as a Dual Cue and Synchronizer.....Located in Chester Connecticut
Feel free to contact me and i will send pics...
We're moving very soon and this machine really needs to go..It's an awesome rig that, with a little love, can be amazing....

I saw pictures of it on the Craigslist post. It's a beautiful machine!

This is an M79.
It's a 14" reel conversion machine.
Alot of the problems are probably due to that, such as severe tape angles.
I know the history of this machine.
