FS: MOTU 24 I/O w/ Black Lion Mod $1050 shipped SOLD SOLD

Post by ctmsound » Tue Sep 22, 2009 12:29 am

Hi all, great condition 24 IO with BLA mod. Comes with the PCI-424 card as well. Not the PCIe. I was very impressed with the mod, but I'm now solely on a laptop and thus, it does not work for that.

Dropped it to $1050 shipped.

SOLD SOLD

bump? I'm surprised very few have inquired about this. Am I priced too high? I'm $800 below what this would cost new.

Is this a 2408 unit??? Is the card PCI or PCI-x? pci-x are cool because they go with the g5 macs which are plenty fast for audio and getting real cheap.

OK, HERE is what I'm selling. It's not the 2408

http://www.motu.com/products/pciaudio/24IO/

It has THIS MODIFICATION:

http://www.blacklionaudio.com/Modificat ... Interfaces

It sounds KICK ASS compared to the stock, original model that you buy here:

http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/24ioCorePCIe/

I am selling the PCI card version. NOT pciE or pciX.

$1200 shipped to lower 48.

Oh, man don't get antsy and put this on the bay yet. I'm currently having a Pro Tools re-evaluation crisis, and may be switching to Reaper soon. In which case, I'd love to have this as my front end. Hope you (and everybody else eyeing this) can hold on! -Chris
