selling off the rest of the collection...

Post by Smitty » Tue Jan 12, 2010 2:24 pm

been absent from the board for a while... am proud to report a number of great new developments in my life, from buying a small farm in central ohio to adopting an adorable german shepherd pup. however, these same changes have effectively reduced the amount of time, energy, and money available to put towards recording projects in the forseeable future to zero. so i'll be selling what's left of my recording rig to help bankroll the first growing season here on the farm.

i sold off a lot of the mid-range stuff a few months ago before i moved, but this time it's the heart of my setup, the good (to me) stuff that's going. i'd love to see it go for a fair price to a fellow TapeOp'er and get used to make awesome music instead of collecting dust in my basement.

among the items to be sold:
(UPDATED 02/17/10 w/specifics and prices and pictures, oh my) PHOTOS FOR MICS AND GEAR HERE
(UPDATED 02/21/10 w/ cheaper prices in red... stuff's gotta go, folks!)
Presonus Digimax LT - $300
pair of Yamaha NS-10's - $350
My recording desktop PC (Gateway Pentium 4 w/lots of RAM) & EMU 1212M soundcard - $300
mid-century Tannoy ribbon mic (100% functional w/original ribbon and homemade 3-pin-->XLR cable) pics here: 1, 2, 3 - $500
some 1/4" -1/4" TRS patchbays - $15 apiece
Sennheiser MD-421 II - SOLD
EV 676 - SOLD
EV 660 - SOLD
EV 664A - $50
Sennheiser e602 - SOLD
Shure SM77 - $75
(2) Shure Unidyne III - SOLD
Sennheiser MD 518 - $50
(2) Shure SM60's - $100/pair
EV RE10 - $80
(2) EV 635A - SOLD
Audio Technica ATM450 (near new w/clip, pouch and original box) - SOLD
(2) Nady RSM-3 Ribbon (w/ shockmounts, zipper pouches & wooden boxes) - SOLD
CAD TSM 411 - $75
AKG D170E - $50
AKG D320B - SOLD
AKG (Maestro) DM500 - $50
Samson C15 - $20

K&M Stereo Mic Bar (New in unopened packaging) - SOLD
Rolls Matchbox DB25 - $20
DOD 260 Direct Box - $20
ATI M-1000 Micro-Amp Precision Dual Microphone Preamp - $125

i would prefer bank checks or money orders, but will accept PayPal if buyer is willing to cover the fees. i've sold gear here on the board before, and have a 100% selling record on eBay. shipping would be from 43201.

i will update this listing with more items and prices as i go through things. please PM me if there's something on the above list you can't live without.

Smitty,

1-Have you already shipped the 602?

2-Without the clip part, how do you get the 421 on a stand?

Thanks

all items that were paid for before saturday morning were shipped then via USPS.

i never even had a clip, so i'm not really sure if putting one in would hold it securely or not, to be honest. i just used one of those universal "plastic ring and bungee cord" type mic holders for it.

Cool! I'm really looking forward to the e602.

Would the universal mount come with that 421? I'm pretty interested.

Thanks
