Alesis Bitrman FS, HR16

Post by j_howell » Mon Mar 01, 2010 4:27 pm

Hey kids. I have a near mint Bitrman for sale with all the stuff that came with it- box, manual, power supply, yada yada. Still has the plastic on the top of the unit, even. Lots of fun, but doesn't see much action around here and I need a Fender reverb tank, so...yeah. The market on these things seems to fluctuate quite a bit, and I know times are hard and everything's cheaper these days, so make me a reasonable offer.

Also have an Alesis HR16 drum machine. With power supply, works well, but a couple of the pads seem to stick now and again. Thinking it's nothing a little D5 wouldn't fix. $50 + shipping.*SOLD!*

And finally, I have a near-mint Voo Doo Lab Superfuzz with box and manual. Great shape cosmetically, sounds great. Does have velcro on the bottom, otherwise pretty much like new. Sounds pretty awesome, but it's redundant for me at this point, my fuzz needs are covered elsewhere. *SOLD*

Message me for pics- sorry, they'd already be here, but I just realized my camera's at my gf's house, so maybe later this evening...

Thanks!

I don't wanna hafta deal with eBay...somebody buy this Bitrman already! BTW, by "reasonable" I mean about the going market rate, which seems to be in the neighborhood of $185 or so, so yeah...if anyone wants it, $185 shipped in the lower 48 takes it. Thanks!

Bump for lowered price of $175 shipped in the US. I really don't want to deal with eBay, but...somebody buy this thing! :)

Bump! I told a fella (or gal, I guess) I'd hold onto the Bitrman for a week or so two weeks ago, but he/she still hasn't paid, so...couple more days and it's off to eBay.

Having trouble getting pics to load here, but there's an ad over here at the TDPRI with pics:

http://www.tdpri.com/phpclassifieds/sho ... duct=18739

Listed there at $200 OBO, as per my ad here I'd take $175 shipped in the CONUS. Thanks for looking at this way too damned long thread!

Bump...'cause my lazy ass still hasn't listed the Bitrman on eBay. Also, would be interested in trades involving a tube spring reverb or maybe a Fulltone Clyde Deluxe...thanks for looking!

Indeed- it's great for lots of things, actually. I like using it to rough up acoustic guitar occasionally- using the bit crusher or decimator at lower settings does something really nice and grainy to nylon-string sounds. The ring mod function, set low, does some great tremolo, especially split between two amps/channels.

It's known for being a great mangler, and it definitely is, but with a little finesse and/or more conservative settings, it's actually a lot more versatile than it gets credit for. I'd hang on to it if there wasn't other stuff I kinda need more and/or I used it more often...
