otari RADAR II, vertical DAKING pres/comps, spectra 610, etc

hey tape op folks !

deciding to slim down my setup and raise $ for a new console.

here is what i have for sale. all located in my private studio, milwaukee, wi. all in great working condition. prefer bank transfer, cash in person, or cashiers check. will do paypal if you cover all fees. i will ship to USA only for actual shipping cost. i am in madison, chicago, st.louis, detroit often...happy to work out something local buyers.

here we go:

OTARI RADAR II (2) 24track w/the CLASSIC RADAR converters. 24bit, 44/48khz only. Includes a RE-8II session remote/cable/meterbridge. 2 73G drives in carriers. 24ch analog I/O on DSUB, 24ch DIGITAL TDIF i/o also on DSUB, 2ch of SPDIF, 2ch of AES.

i have 2 radars, and find that i am never using more than 24 tracks. super solid machine, sounds amazing. i used to xfer tracks to and from RADAR to/from my DAW via a motu 2408...worked great. or...just get some analog signals into it, send 24 ch out to a console...plug in the remote, arm the tracks and make records !!

$2000.00

two DAKING 552270 mic preamp/eqs. these are the original vertical modules. i have a bunch of these...and need to let a pair go. excellent condition. includes ATA case and power supply that will power 4 daking modules. amazing eqs based on the trident A-range.

$2200 for the pair w/rack/power supply

two DAKING compressor/limiters. again, the original vertical modules. excellent condition. includes ATA case and power supply for 4 modules.

$2200.00 for the pair w/rack/power supply

will sell both the pair of preamps and the pair of comp/limiters with one ATA case and power supply for $4200.00.

SPECTRASONICS 610 comp/limiter. squash and distort ala/tchad blake. works and sounds amazing. one of the original, not a reissue.

$900.00

LINE 6 studio echo. the single space green rack mounted guy. great emulations of tape/tube/analog delays. mint condition. always been racked up.

$300

Wow. $2000 for a RADAR II?

I dearly love my RADAR. They are so fantastic. Someone is going to get a great deal and be very, very happy.
