Well time for more on the chopping block (GD taxes!). Early 80's Gibson Victory setup with flatwounds with ohsc. Sliver in color and the version with one passive pickup. Good condition, nice and burley. You can clobber the hoards with this one. Be that new wave feller you always wanted to be if metal hadn't pulled you in instead! Will post pics when off the road but for now...
it's this guitar essentially - http://www.gbase.com/gear/gibson-victor ... 80-cardina - but sliver
$700 + shipping, but I will eat the PP

Gibson Victory bass $700
i 've got my own map, sucker
Back in 2000 I bought a Victory bass, only difference was that it had the passive rail-humbucker pickup in a stingray position. It sounded awesome, but was heavy as a log. Great feeling necks on those basses!
I think I sold it in 03, but kind of wish I hadn't. Especially since prices have steadily risen on these things. Very cool guitar.
