rare gates dual tube limiter; second version.
im selling my other gates dual tube limiter.
use it as a stereo or dual mono limiter. this one is the later version. heres the difference between the two; First version uses tube type detector/rectifier tube side chain, Second version uses a solid state variable gain reduction circuit.
This one just got back from my tech where he outfitted it with a n.o.s. pair of utc A18 transformers and fully serviced it. utc a 18 are what is used in a ua 175....the sound is smooth and tubey..... its a very rare stereo tube limiter. its in my studio in los angeles. last one i had here sold pretty quick with a few interested parties; so heres another one for those looking last time.
