I have two of these, one is a +DSP unit from the first batch they did and one is a 2D, non DSP unit.
These two are IMHO the best AD/DA money can buy.
I'm sure there's no other interface that has the flexibility of these units, except for their bigger sisters the ULN8 and the LIO.
8 channels of AD each one can be digitally switched to be:
1) a mic preamp which is very good for loud sources or pretty sensitive mics.
2) a D.I. input that kicks ass
3) +4 line in
4) -10 line in

all the analog outputs can be set to +4 or -10 and don't get me started on the routing..

all right, you wanna get me started on the routing? Well, you can easily do whatever you want with this baby. Everything.

And another thing: the line outs are so cool you can plug in headphones, and they can drive those phones to VERY high levels. Metal-monitoring levels.
