FS: Otari Radar I

I have an Otari Radar I up for sale.

I have owned it since 2007. It works great and I have done plenty of records to it. It is really stable in live settings, never had it drop out, unlike some other recorders.

I am getting to a Radar II, so this needs to go.

It comes with the remote, and 3x2gb hard drives inside. You get about 90 minutes continuous on 24 tracks.

I have mostly been using it for a 2 mix converter to run back into my DAW after summing and using it as a master clock. It does that great.

Also the clocking and chasing options are excellent on this unit. It chases and generates smpte, also has AES and S/PDIF for 2 channels, and can chase/generate MTC.

You could easily sync a tape machine to a Pro Tools LE rig easily with this, plus throw in another 24 tracks.

Asking $1000 +shipping. Completely open to offers.

Kyle

No, they are 16/48.

They still sound excellent and unlike any other 16 bit converter that I have ever heard.
