Hey all, a little over 3 years ago I helped a local marketing and consulting firm build an AV Suite in order to be able to do some in house content generation for themselves and their clients. With recent trends their market niche has shifted and it has begun to make more sense to hire out the production work as needed rather than maintain their existing suite. To this end I have agreed to help them rehome the bulk of the suite. Everything listed was purchased new during the summer of 2008 from Full Compass in Madison WI, which is also where the firm is located.
The installation was fixed, so the connecting cables have all only been plugged in and unplugged once, during setup and dis-assembly, by me personally. The XLR cables have seen very light as has the rest of the equipment. The only imperfections that I noticed during breakdown was some scratches on top of the nearfields from being used as shelves, and foot scuffs on the drawers, which are likely just dust. Unfortunately an intern went on a cleaning bender a year or so ago and threw out all of the boxes, packaging and documentation from everything, so nothing will come that stuff. I would expect that we could probably produce the original sales receipts if someone was going t purchase a large chunk of stuff and wanted some kind of provenance.
And on that thought, I am listing it here to see if anyone would be interested in buying chunks of stuff before we start listing stuff on ebay. We really want to avoid having to manage lots of transactions for individual cables and such, so I am hoping that some of you might be interested in working out a price on multiple items, as I have the latitude to negotiate if we can save ourselves some time. As I said before, the equipment all resides in Madison, so if you are in this neck of the woods, it will save on shipping, which otherwise will reflect the actual cost of mailing it.
