WTB: Recording Console

Post by Pinch » Fri Dec 30, 2011 1:18 pm

I'm looking for a good quality used recording console for my studio. Minimum 16ch, 8 buss, small format (up to approx 4' in length). in good operational and cosmetic condition. I've been looking for a Trident/Soundcraft/MCI/Harrison but will consider any professional desk.

Console must be in the USA and preferably in the northeast/mid-Atlantic (i.e., driving distance). Feel free to email me or PM. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for lead and offer. For now, I'll keep looking for a board and manufacturer that I'm familiar with. Thanks again.

Amek Einstein

Post by curtiologist » Sun Jan 08, 2012 9:39 pm

I've got an Amek Einstein that has been a great every day console for me for the past three years. I recently bought a Trident 80B and the Einstein has just been sitting in my garage for six months. I wanted to sell it, but haven't had the time to clean it up, take pics, etc. It has a relatively small footprint for a 32 ch. board with 32 ch. of tape return. I had disabled the vca automation but still have all the hardware including the computer and software. I am in AZ. If you are interested, let me know.
