We got some new speakers, so out go the Adams... well cared for, not abused with the volume knob, near mint (a few scuffs from the meter bridge) and sound great.

Can be auditioned in the studio b control room at the bunker.

$2700, local sale only (no shipping)... located in Brooklyn, NY.

can post pics later...

thanks!

Just out of curiosity, what'd you replace the S3As with?

Westlake midfields... 3w12's. we needed bigger speakers for how large our new control room is, and the Adams, while they sounded great, just didn't have enough power for that room.

Hey Gabe!

Yeah, those are indeed the same speakers. They sound good in that room, but hoping to get a Bryston for the NS10's in there...

Did you like mixing on them? How did the stuff translate?

Absolutely fantastic. Clear, crisp and very balanced. My mix sounded the way it did in your room no matter where I listened to it. I LOVED mixing on these. It was a jazz session so I would like to work on them for some rock or something else but I'm sure they fare just as well across the board. Someone should definitely pick these up. They're serious speakers, and John and Aaron are awesome dudes as well. :)
