5 mic inputs, one line input, mono output
bass and treble controls - bass control is *super* deep. this'll be a good pre for drum blends (mono drums, anyone? kick, snare, oh, tom, tom... to mono...)
there are several output options - direct out, tranformerless output, and then through the output transformer/tube stage - subtle, but a few tone pallate options to get the output out of.
all original - NOS tubes - runs pretty super damn no-hum silent. DC heaters on the tubes.
this is the western electric patent like the Altec 1567A -
inside has oil and paper west german coupling caps (parafilm)
no scratchy pots
meter works and calibrates perfectly!

mortimer: i'm guessing and hypothesizing that with mic and master gains full up, there's about 60db gain.
