Otari MX5050 mk III, Mackie 1642 VLZ, MRL tape...

Post by hossdogg » Sat Aug 03, 2013 4:32 am

I am selling the items listed below as a package deal. The Otari runs well with no issues. I used it in my smoke-free, home studio for 3 years then mothballed all my gear when I moved overseas. Everything was well maintained.

The Otari heads are in good shape. As can be expected, there is some wear, but this machine still has a lot of mileage left on it.

With this package, you could calibrate the Otari and be up and recording in a day. I calibrated the machine and only ran Emtec Studio Master 900 maxima tape. The results were knock-out.

I do not want to ship the gear, therefore if you are interested and are willing to pick-up, send me an e-mail horsevk@gmail.com.

I now live in S.E. Minnesota.

Just putting this out there, I'd be interested in the MRL tape if you end up wanting or needing to sell it separately. If that's the case I'd take the demagnetizer too. I already have and love one of these machines sadly! (for you haha)

Also, mine has a couple of those arming switches on the front missing, do you have any idea where I could get those?
