WTB: Used Line Audio CM3 matched pair

Post by shosty5 » Sat May 24, 2014 4:31 pm

Starting my own home studio after a year of pro apprenticeship. Have everything but the mics. Heard great things about Line Audio CM3s but can't seem to find a retailer in the US that'll sell a matched pair. Absolute Max budget is $400USD so used is preferred (I'm working on a student budget).

Also- if anyone has a stereo pair of AKG P170s, Rode NT5s (w/Joly mods would be super), or any other SDC pairs they think would be suitable for classical recording please PM me.

thanks

You can buy brand new directly from Line Audio, shipped to the US, for less than $400.

Mics: http://www.lineaudio.se/CM3.html About $150 each
Ordering info: http://www.lineaudio.se/contact.html Shipping about $16

The guy that builds them doesn't do pairs as far as i know. He says all the CM3s are matched to very tight tolerances.
