FS: rack gear from API, UA, Melcor, SCA

Putting up some midlevel rack gear for your consideration. Items ship from ZIP 46304. Buyer pays shipping, but I'll eat the Paypal fees if you elect to go that route. I can supply pictures upon request.

API 2500. With manual. $1600 SOLD

Summit DCL 200. With manual. $1600

Joe Meek SC2.2. With manual and original box. This is a Ted Fletcher unit that I bought new in 2001. Not in the same league as the two above units, but still cool and useful. $400

2 x UA 1108 in BAE rack. These are something special, and the full story can be found by searching at Gearslutz. The folks at Brent Averill got ahold of an old UA desk that was once owned by Eddie VanHalen. Avedis racked the 1108?s in pairs with phantom and DI, and there were very few made. This is one of them, and probably the nicest set of preamps I ever had the pleasure to use. $1600

2 x Langevin AM17-GC preamps. These are the gain control version of the AM16, with a little more gain than their little brothers. Originally outfitted with a noisy unbalanced attenuation pot, which I changed to 5 step balanced fixed resistor attenuators. I have racked these in a really big 3U enclosure with phantom. This rack is HEAVY so shipping will run into dough.
$700

SCA rack with 2 x A12 modules. Bought this stuff new in around 2004 or so, so it?s a slightly older generation of rack than the most current one. $700

2 x Ekmiller W86a filters. Also something special. Passive filters with boost and cut around 60Hz and 10kHz. These are beautiful pristine looking modules with correct edge connectors, unracked. Heavy rascals because of the giant Hauf transformers inside. Again, they?re passive, so you?ll need a make up gain stage on the output. Really only want to sell as a pair. $800/pr

2 x Melcor GME-20 EQ. I have racked these sideways in a 2U enclosure with a power supply, so they are totally plug and play. Recapped them too. $700

4 x Scully 280 input modules. Truth is, I have the whole deck if you?re a glutton for punishment. It?s a 7 1/2ips ? 15ips deck if you happen to be looking for spares for a deck you use. I?d like to get $250/ea for the inputs and we can talk about the transport and power supply if you feel like it.

Lexicon PCM91. With manual (you?ll need it to get the most out of this thing). $800

2 x Calrec CM1050 microphones. These are FET condensors, very much like the KM84 and I think they sound every bit as good. With little vinyl zippered pouches. $400/ea

2 x Shure 315S ribbon microphones. With original leather pouches and pigtails to alter the old 4 pin Shure spec to modern XLR. $250/ea

Shure 300 ribbon microphone. In the original hard case. More low end and less high end boost than the 315 model, and no ON/OFF switch. Possibly my favorite mic for a smokey female vocal. $300

2 x Beyerdymanic M500 ribbon microphones. No boxes for these either. $400/ea
